Politics is becoming so interesting in Pakistan. There are two major parties in Pakistan since 1970. But this time new party has replaced them and is ruling the country as biggest political party in Pakistan named as Pakistan Tehrik e Insaaf (PTI).
The sharp rift between the opposition parties at the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) summit on Tuesday has entered a new phase, with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) forging ties with the opposition party Jamaat-e-Islami, which rejected the PDM alliance. According to details, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq at Mansura, the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami in Lahore today. Bilawal Bhutto said that Jamaat-e-Islami and PPP are the real and basic people’s parties, while Siraj-ul-Haq said that they have agreed to work together on election reforms, it is necessary. That there should be dialogue and consultation among the political parties.
